Hi. I am not sure how seriously you should take this threat. I can't say whether or not they can take legal action. In order to prove you are being libellous, would they not need to prove their statements and assertions are true? If so, I don't think you have much to worry about.

However, I thought I would have a look at what the fuss was all about ....

The website is frankly scandalous. I particularly like the line 'Teaching patients to stop making cancer'.

I also had a look at what this 'doctor' had to say about 'What is Health' on YouTube. Almost straight away after the umms and arrs I thought how could anyone believe this bollox. Then I realised it is exactly those - cancer patients - who are in the optimum mindset to be taken in. I myself went through the dilemma of 'if conventional medicine is failing melanoma patients, what else is out there'. I fairly quickly decided it was not for me. I personally would not want to dissuade someone from seeking homeopathic comfort alongside conventional treatment where it would be possible. However, this fella can't even claim to be offering comfort - it is just too far out there. Lies would more accurately describe his website - 'Target and eliminate the cancer without harming the patient' wow

How ridiculous!
I agree, surely in order to take legal action he would need evidence to support his claims!
I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. I would have thought falsely claiming to eliminate cancer a far more serious matter!

Hi Sean,

When you are on a mission to debunk, threats of legal action mean you are doing something right.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Sean
I also think the site is a load of rubbish - and I think an awful lot of people find your site as much a help as anyone trying to ( though I do understand why) find other solutions to their disease - don't worry about it - there are plenty over the years on this forum who will back you up. Please continue with your frank and truthful evidence based info ....

Thanks all. The problem with UK libel law is a reverse burden of proof. I have to prove it is true rather than Lodi having to prove it isn't. My fellow bloggers have come to the rescue here here and here.
