UK Skin Cancer and Melanoma Patients

I am trying to find information about an anal melanoma, I am looking for anyone who has been diagnosed with this type of cancer or for any information about prognosis or treatment. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago.

ANYONE coming on this forum has the right to be given honest advice I agree, not sugar coated platitudes, but there is certainly no need to be so blunt - there is ALWAYS hope, as long as there is breath in the body - no matter what statistics say - they are for groups of people NOT individuals.

If you haven't had any replies it may be because no-one tends to look in the chat room very often, we all tend to congregate in the "general info on melanoma" so if you havent already - please feel free to repost your query in there. Personally I dont know anything about anal melanoma, only that once diagnosed all Melanoma's are treated promptly in the best way the surgeon/oncologist feels befitting to the situation. Please accept my apologies for lack of response to your post and do please let us know how you are getting on in the main "general info" section of the forum.
