UK Skin Cancer and Melanoma Patients

Newly dianosed, I wondered if anyone know of the best protection against the UV rays, not just the numbers but the makes. What about all year round coverage, as having been diagnosed must make you more vulnerable for future melanoma. Any ideas??

no need for year round coverage where I live in the North Midlands. The advice is to stay out of the summer sun, but you should be able to get good sun-cream on prescription. I think it's Garnier. Personally I go with UV protective clothing (mine if from craghoppers) and staying out of the sun, I hate feeling sticky with lotion in the heat.
