UK Skin Cancer and Melanoma Patients

hi i had recently had an operation as they found melanoma on my trunk area and i have to see a cancer nurse every thrtee months for the next five years, i am really nervous as i am wanting to go abroad tyo work but worried about been in the sun and not sure what i can and cant do ?

Hi, you tend to get more response on this forum in the "general information on melanoma" section so you might want to repost there!

I don't see a problem with working abroad if you are pretty careful in the sun. I guess you should avoid jobs that have you outside in the sun between 11-3, but mostly it is just commonsense, avoiding ever getting burned or going pink.
