The ride and worry continues

Postby Tuckerz » Wed Mar 10, 2010 11:59 am

Just got back from my local hospital after a small procedure. I was having a little bleeding from my back passage, and my GP sent me for a scope last week. all seemed clear up there, Apart from a suspecting trombosed heamroid. Had that taken out yesterday, but because of my history of MM unknown primary, it's been sent for biopsy. The consultant thinks it is not a MM but no risks being taken. I'm a bit sore down there at the moment. It just seems one thing after another with this dreaded disease. Hopfully and probably I'm worrying over nothing, but had to get it off my chest.

Oh, Ian.. poor you! But it does seem to be one worry after another with this thing! I had an urgent extra appointment at the dermatologists yesterday, with a mole that I had rediscovered after 4 years of pretending it wasn't there! It's in a place not easily seen, if you get my drift... and 4 years ago I was told it was fine, but last weekend it didn't look too fine and I freaked out! After a highly embarrassing visit to the GP and a slightly less embarrassing visit to the dermatologist (he let me keep my drawers on), I am once again calm.

Hope calmness descend in the Tuckerz household once more.

Take care!

Sorry for that Ian - but it may be just be as you said - the hemaroid - not nice in itself but better than more melanoma - and if the consultant thinks its ok thats a good sign - it just sounds precautionary and hence they are taking care of you properly - hope you can do something that clears the head while you wait !
